Eastern got goals from Billy Bascou and Darren Plotkin to rally from a two goal deficit in the third period and salvaged a 5-5 tie in action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. After a scoreless first period in which both net minders, Daisy Mase for Eastern and Kevin Roth for Cinnaminson each stopped all 11 shots they face. The second period the offense arrived, especially for Cinnaminson as they tallied five goals in the period.

After Josh Weinberg scored a short-handed goal to give Eastern a 1-0 lead, Cinnaminson, still on the same power play had Ryan Potteiger tie the game at 1-1. Less than thirty seconds later Cinnaminson took a 2-1 lead with Eric McDowell scoring his fifteenth of the season. That lead was short lived as Plotkin scored ten seconds later and we were tied at 2-2. Cinnaminson would then score three consecutive goals to take a 5-2 lead as Kevin Rafferty and Justin Nugent scored thirty seconds apart at the seven minute mark and Sean Joyce added a power play goal with less than four minutes remaining in the period.

Sam Seigledorf scored an important goal in the last two minutes to cut the lead to 5-3. Mase kept Cinnaminson off the board in the third period, especially early while the Vikings killed off a power play. Bascou cut the lead to 5-4 scoring at the ten minute mark and Plotkin got the equalizer with less than seven minutes left in the game. Neither team would score again, with Cinnaminson having to kill off a penalty in the final three minutes.
