The Eastern Vikings stormed back from a 5-1 deficit with five goals in the third period, but Jacob Mitchell scored his second goal of the game thirty seconds into overtime as Lenape defeated Eastern 7-6 and eliminated the Vikings from the playoffs. Mitchell and Alec Goldstein exchanged goals eighteen seconds apart early in the first period before Kyle Young put Lenape up 2-1 at the nine minute mark.

The second period was all Lenape as Young, Tom Burns and Sean Fasano all scored to give Lenape a seemingly safe 5-1 lead after two periods. Alec Weinberg made it 5-2 early in the third but Burns got that one back about four minutes later and the lead was 6-2 with just under eight minutes remaining. Back came the Vikings as the scored four goals over the next three minutes, two coming on the power play. First Sam Seigledorf and Nicky Bascou scored twelve seconds apart to cut the lead to 6-4. Then with a two-man advantage they scored two more goals with Billy Bascou and Joshua Weinberg getting the goals and we were tied at 6-6.

Lenape wasted little time as Mitchell scored quickly and the Vikings season had come to an end. From almost not having a team this year to where they finished, Eastern should be proud of their accomplishment.
