Jared Hand had a hat trick and Eric Simone added two goals as EEW defeated Cinnaminson 6-3 in Tier II action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. In the new format of combining schools, the combination of Eastern(E), Cherry Hill East(E) and Cherry Hill West(W), have come together to form a very competitive team. Cinnaminson jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Sean Gault and Joe Calendo.

EEW would capitalize on the power play to get back in the game. Hand would score the first of four power play goals by EEW as he connected to cut the lead to 2-1.Eric Simone would tie the game at 2-2 midway through the second period as he scored short-handed. Gault would help Cinnaminson retake the lead just about two minutes later as he scored a power play goal and the lead was 3-2.

But with back to back penalties EEW had a two-man advantage and would capitalize on both ends of the power play with Hand getting the equalizer and Nick Bascou scoring late to give EEW the lead heading into the third period. Hand completed his hat trick as he scored his third power play goal at the seven minute mark to make it 5-3. Simone added an empty net goal to close out the scoring.
