Jordan Kreifels scored with less than two minutes left in the game as Lenape/RV skated to a 3-3 tie against Shawnee. Shawnee had built a 3-1 lead after two periods but Lenape/RV rallied and now has one win and a tie against Tier 1 opponents in three contests.

Each team scored a goal in the first period with Larry Walker giving Shawnee a 1-0 lead late in the period and Sam Belanger tying the score with six seconds left. The second period Shawnee scored twice in the first two minutes, first Lee Alessandrini getting his third goal of the season just thirty seconds into the period and about one minute later Michael Peccini scoring on the power play for a 3-1 advantage. Lenape/RV Steve Rinaldi would stop the remaining 13 shots to keep his team in the game.

After Popp brought Lenape/RV to within 3-2 early in the third, Rinaldi would come up big midway through the period on back to back power plays for Shawnee, stopping 18 shots to keep his team close. Kreifels got the equalizer with Popp getting the assist and Lenape/RV had a well earned point.
