Michael Wilson netted a hat trick and Isaiah Beck added two goals as the Wings of Steel came back form a two goal deficit to beat the Woodbridge Rangers 5-2 in sled hockey action at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees. With the win the Wings improved to 10-0-1. Woodbridge led 2-0 before the Wings offense got going, Wilson scored two goals seconds apart early in the second period to get the game even at 2-2.

The Wings got there first lead with just over two minutes left in the seco9nd period, Isaiah made a nice play at the point to keep the puck in and he found Michael Wilson in the slot and he buried it for his third of the game and a 3-2 lead heading into the third period. Beck gave the Wings some breathing room as Wilson hit him coming up the middle and his shot clanged off the crossbar and into the net for a 4-2 lead.

Isaiah scored on a breakaway as Anthony Kensinger sent him in with just fourteen seconds left and that closed out the scoring for the Wings. Next up is a game at Vineland on Saturday.

Notes: The G man made an appearance prior to the game, Garrett Goebel, who suffered two broken legs wanted to see his teammates and it was great to have the G man there. His recovery is moving along and he hopes to be back skating in January.
