Not having played a game in 24 days was evident last night as the EEW started slowly but scored late to defeat Cinnaminson 3-1 in Tier II action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Having last played on December 16th, a 4-1 win against Clearview, The EEW struggled to find their rhythm and had numerous power play opportunities, six to be exact, but failed to capitalize on the chances. Billy Bascou finally broke the scoreless drought with just 36 seconds left in the second period, scoring down low with Tyler Arsenault getting the assist.
Cinnaminson tied the score at 1-1 with Sean Gault putting home a rebound at the ten minute mark of the third period with Brandon Greenberg and Chris Pawlikowski getting the helpers. Ross Bryan gave the EEW the lead with just over three minutes left in the game with Marc Duyan assisting. Jared Hand iced the game in the final minute as he jammed home a pass from Eric Simone to give the EEW the win.
