Shane Lippincott stopped all 19 shots and the EEW used two power play goals in defeating Black Horse 3-0 on Monday night and advancing to the Championship round in Tier II. Jared Hand scored the only goal of the first period to give the EEW a 1-0 lead heading into the second period. Early in the second period the EEW took advantage of a two man advantage, scoring twice. First Nick Bascou made it 2-0 scoring on the front end of the advantage with Hand and Ross Bryan getting the assists.

Than Bryan converted on the back end of the power play with Bascou and Jordan Hutnik getting the helpers. With a 3-0 lead that was all the EEW would need as Lippincott pitched a shutout. The EEW will now wait for the winner of Black Horse-Cinnaminson, and try and win the Tier II Title next Monday night.
