Kyle Frasier and Bryan Popiolek had a goal and two assists and Scott Veneziale had two goals to lead Black Horse by Clearview 4-2 in the Tier II playoff game played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Black Horse will now await the winner of the HLV-Clearview game on Friday night at Voorhees. Black Horse needs just one win for the title, while the winner of the Clearview-HLV game will need to beat Black Horse twice. After a scoreless first period, Black Horse broke on top at the nine minute mark as Frasier set-up Popiolek, less than two minutes later Frasier scored a shorthanded goal to make it 2-0.

Gianna Rifici meanwhile kept the View off the board and with just over five minutes left in the period Popiolek made a great pass to Scott Veneziale in the slot and he had the right side of the net to shoot at and he buried it for a 3-0 lead. Clearview got on the board as Mike Cullen scored a power play goal with just over seven minutes left to cut the lead to 3-1. Jeff Todd would make it 3-2 as he scored on a breakaway. But Veneziale, on a feed from Popiolek iced the game with about four minutes left and Black Horse was within one win of their title.
