Top seed Riverfront ran into a hot goalie last night as Steve San Martin stopped 34 shots and Dylan Richardson scored a short-handed goal with six minutes left in the game to give Cinnaminson a 3-2 win over Riverfront. Sean Conard scored the only goal of the first period as Riverfront led 1-0. Cinnaminson would score two goals in a three minute span to take a 2-1 lead on goals by James Lowry and Matty McLane. Riverfront would get the equalizer late in the period as Isaac Viereck connected with just over two minutes remaining.

San Martin made several big saves and kept Riverfront off the board as they tested him on several occasions. At the six minute mark Riverfront went on the power play with a chance to take the lead, but Richardson scored short-handed and Cinnaminson held on for the win.

Notes: San Martin did not face Riverfront in the regular season and Cinnaminson lost both games giving up 17 goals in two games. Tonight was a different story.
