Kingsway got two goals each from Matt Smith and Dom Salerno as they defeated Clearview III 5-3 in Olympic playoff action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The loss ended the season for Clearview III. The View jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Mike DeFelice in the opening minutes and one by Connor Ennis at the eight minute mark. Kingsway would get goals from Salerno and Smith in the final two minutes to tie the game at 2-2 after one period.

Michael Moss scored an unassisted goal late in the second period to give Kingsway its first lead at 3-2. That’s how we stood entering the third period and the View got the tying goal from Jake Sholders in the first minute to knot the game at 3-3. Salerno would net the eventual game winner with just over six minutes left with Moss getting the helper. Smith added a goal in the final seconds to close out the scoring and keep Kingsway’s season alive.
