Tristan Tilghman scored twice as Riverfront defeated St Joe’s 5-3 and force a deciding game in the Olympic Double elimination tournament. Riverfront jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Dylan Farnan and Tilghman midway through the period. St Joe’s would get a goal from Paul Petrongolo in the final minute of the period to cut the deficit to 2-1. Tilghman’s second goal of the night in the first two minutes of the second period gave Riverfront a 3-1 lead. Jake Lukis would make it 4-1 at the eight minute mark before Trevor Rucci would score for St Joe’s and make it 4-2 after two.

The third period was very physical as both teams combined for 12 penalties and Riverfront took advantage on the power play with Sean Conard scoring. St Joe’s Anthony Carite would add a short-handed goal late in the game, but the expected celebration was put on hold until Friday night when a champion will be crowned.
