The game was interesting as neither team would score in the opening period. And in the second period they would combine for six goals. Jordan Stein would give Cherry Hill a 1-0 lead in the opening minute of the second period. James Vona and Cutler would score the next two goals as East took a 2-1 lead.

The Vikings said hold on and they would score the next two with Colin Yoder and Christian Hill getting the goals and a 3-2 Eastern lead. Joe Furgiuele would tie the game at 3-3 in the final two minutes as we headed into the third all square. Cutler scored at the four minute mark and then two minutes later Cherry Hill had a power play opportunity to increase their lead but could not capitalize and Brice Sullivan would shut the door in goal and Cherry Hill advances.
