Clinging to a 2-1 lead heading into the third period Cherry Hill East would score four times to pull away from Mainland 6-1 in late game action in Voorhees. The win gave East an 11-1 record at the holiday break, just two points ahead of HLV. Ben Isakovich scored the only goal of the first period, his fourth goal of the year as Cherry Hill led 1-0. David Cutler would make it 2-0 early in the second period getting his first of two on the night and East led 2-0. Mainland would close the gap to 2-1 in the final ninety seconds of the period as Anthony Santa Maria scored to give Mainland some momentum going into the third period.

Early in the third period Tom Papa would restore the two goal lead for East just ninety seconds in and the lead was 3-1. Mainland would spend half the period killing penalties and Callum Scott would give East a 4-1 lead at the ten minute mark and Ethan Chase would make it 5-1 just about two minutes later. Cutler would get his second of the night on the power play in the final minute to close out the scoring.
