Brady Swain scored twice as HLV held on to defeat Clearview 2-1 in SJHSHL action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. Nicholas Manning stopped 14 shots in goal for HLV. HLV scored the only goal of the first period with Swain converting a feed from Nicholas Kruzdio. We stayed that way until late in the second period with the puck dumped into the offensive zone for HLV, Clearview goalie Matt D’Alonzo, who was outstanding in nets, raced to try and freeze the puck, Swain beat him to the puck and after initially shooting wide on the open net, Swain quickly followed up his shot and tucked the puck in on the short side and a 2-0 lead.

The View would get an opportunity to cut into the lead midway through the final period as they would have a 2 man advantage. Gavin Reagan would connect on the power play with Jake Nole and Brendan Bainbridge getting the assists. The View could not capitalize on the back end of the power play and HLV would hold on for the win.
