John Gallen and Calvin Aliferov each scored two goals as Cherry Hill defeated Riverfront 7-0 in Tier II action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday evening. Leading just 1-0 after one period on Gallen’s first goal, Cherry Hill used a four goal second period to blow the game open. Ben Snyder and Aliferov scored goals two minutes apart in the opening four minutes to put the Cougars up 3-0. Goals by Joe Pearson and Gallen, again two minutes apart at the five minute mark had the lead to 5-0.

Brice Sullivan got the start in nets for Cherry Hill and stopped all 10 shots he faced and got help from his defense when Riverfront was on the power play as the Raiders failed to connect on three power play opportunities. Elliott Schon would get his third goal of the season in the first minute of the third period to make it 6-0. Four minutes later Aliferov would get his second of the night this one coming on the power play and the lead was 7-0. Riverfront would have 2 power play chances but Cherry Hill would shut them down and Sullivan had his first win.
