Williamstown converted on two power play opportunities and went on to defeat Kingsway 3-1 in Tier I action played at Hollydell on Friday night. Steve Poulin wasted little time as he scored right off the opening face-off as the Braves jumped out to a 1-0 lead just twelve seconds into the game. Kingsway would tie the score at 1-1 at the eight minute mark as Jason Player would score his fifth goal of the season. Williamstown would take the lead for good as Enrique Espinoza scored on the power play with Poulin getting the assist and the Braves took a 2-1 lead into the second period.

Early in the period given another chance on the power play Williamstown capitalized once again and led 3-1. Kingsway could not generate much offense and Williamstown would even its record at 1-1.
