Samuel Swain scored two goals and Nick Manning stopped 27 shots as HLV defeated St Joe’s 6-1 at Voorhees. With the win HLV improved to 4-0 on the season. Matt Savvas and Swain scored two minutes apart in the first period to give HLV a 2-0 lead. Swain got his second goal of the night scoring early into the second period to make it 3-0. Manning was at his best as St Joe’s had back to back power plays, but could not get one by Manning and we headed into the final period with HLV up 3-0.

HLV pushed the lead to 5-0 on a short-handed goal by Brady Swain and a goal by Kevin Yang. Kevin Glass put St Joe’s on the board with just over three minutes left in the game. Matt Kilkenny scored late in the game to close out the scoring for HLV.
