Constantine Roustas scored three goals in his second consecutive game as the Eastern Vikings defeated Washington Township 7-5 in a Tier I contest at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Conor Riley added two goals and two assists; Chad Castorina led Township with two goals. Anthony Tropea and Castorina traded goals two minutes apart in the first period as we were knotted at 1-1 after one. Riley gave Eastern a 2-1 less than one minute into the second period with Sean Pomerantz getting the helper. Township would tie the game at 2-2 as Matt Kennedy would score a power play goal, one of three on the night for Township.

With less than three minutes left in the period Roustas would get his first of the night to give Eastern a 3-2 lead. That lead lasted just over one minute as Township came right back to tie on a goal by Raymond Rizzo. Roustas would score in the last six seconds to give the Vikings a 4-3 lead heading into the third period. Jacob Findley scored in the opening minute to give the Vikings some breathing room at 5-3. Riley would score a short-handed goal at the two minute mark and the lead was 6-3. Township would rally on the power play with Castorina getting his second of the night and Mike Guarracino connecting with seven minutes left and suddenly it was 6-5. Township would have its opportunities as they had two more power plays over the next four minutes but failed to capitalize. Roustas would complete his hat trick with sixteen seconds left and the Vikings held on.
