Cherokee used a four goal second period to propel them to a 4-1 win against the Williamstown Braves in SJHSHL action played at Voorhees. After a scoreless first period in which the teams split eight penalties, the Chiefs took control in the second led by captain Jeremy Ambrose. With Williamstown on the power play from a carryover penalty late in the first, Ambrose scored short-handed at the thirty-three second mark to put the Chiefs ahead 1-0. Connor Ray would get his first of the season just about thirty seconds later and the lead was 2-0.

Jake Frankenfield would score twice in a span of two minutes, first on the power play and then on a feed from Sean Young and the lead was 4-0. Matthew Stepnowksi got the start in nets for Cherokee and the only thing left was to try and preserve the shutout. Tyler Spear would ruin that as he connected on the power play at the four minute mark, but that would be the only goal Stepnowksi surrendered and the Chiefs remained undefeated at 7-0.
