The Eastern Vikings would score seven goals in the second period, three coming from senior forward Max Kuznetsov, as they went on to defeat the Williamstown Braves 10-3 last night at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The Vikings were short-handed in nets and junior forward Vincent Roustas stepped up and made the start in nets and got his first varsity win! The teams were tied at 1-1 after the first period with Kristopher Zappata giving the Vikings an early 1-0 lead, but the Braves getting the tying goal on the power play from Dylan Gurovich late in the period. Zappata would get his second of the night one minute into the second period and less than one minute later senior forward Conor Riley would score his team high 20th of the season to give the Vikings a 3-1 lead. With Williamstown on the power play Kouznetsov would get his first of the night. Still on the power play seconds later Nathaniel Lowery scored for the Braves to make it 4-2. Kouznetsov would get his second of the night at the six minute mark and Luke A. Riley would score on the power play for the Vikings and the lead was 6-2.

Kouznetsov would complete his hat trick with just under five minutes left in the period and Anthony Tropea would get the seventh goal in the final minute and the Vikings took an 8-2 lead into the third. Riley would get his second of the night just over one minute in, before Tristan Hoffman connected at the four minute mark for the Braves. Jacob Findley would score his 12th of the year late in the game to finish the scoring line.
