Nick Manning stopped all 20 shots as HLV defeated Cherry Hill East 2-0 and moved one point ahead of Clearview for first place in Tier II. Matt Kilkenny would score the only goal Manning would need at the three minute mark of the first period, it was Kilkenny’s seventh of the season, each team would have a power play opportunity but neither could capitalize. Samuel Mohnacs would make it 2-0 late in the second period as Brady Swain and Samuel Swain got the assists.

Cherry Hill would have two straight power play opportunities but Manning kept them off the board. Cherry Hill had power play chances early in the third and late in the third but could not get one by Manning and would escape with the 2-0 victory. This sets up a showdown at the Igloo on Friday night between HLV and Clearview with the Clearview needing a win for the top spot as HLV has a one point lead, a tie does the View no good.
