Luke Dobbs scored three minutes into overtime to give Moorestown a 3-2 win over Eastern in the opening round of the playoffs last night at Voorhees. After a scoreless first period, Kevin Wildish scored on the power play early in the second period to give Moorestown a 1-0 lead. That lead lasted less than one minute as Jacob Findley would tie the game at 1-1. Elias Sulpizio and Luke Riley would exchange goals three minutes apart and we were tied at 2-2 heading into the third period.

Moorestown had a chance on the power play with nine minutes left in the third period, but could not take advantage, so we headed into the extra period and Dobbs scored the game winner with Sulpizio getting the assist. Next up Moorestown will play Cherokee next Monday night at Voorhees with the winner moving into the Championship round. Eastern will play Washington Township, with the loser having their season ended.
