Eight different players scored for Cherry Hill East as they skated past Eastern 8-3 in JVA action last night in Voorhees. With the win Cherry Hill improved to 13-1-1 and increased its first-place lead to three points over Moorestown. Sean Pomerania gave the Vikings their only lead of the night scoring six minutes into the opening period. Cherry Hill would respond scoring three goals in a spin of just over one minute. After Brian Cutler tied the game at 1-1, Connor Bryne and James Vona scored goals twenty seconds apart and Cherry Hill led 3-1.

Jordan Stein would get the Vikings to within 3-2 at the four-minute mark of the second period, but seconds later Jack Gallen scored his 17th of the season and Cherry Hill led 4-2. The Vikings would continue to fight and when Gunner Rogers scored on the power play to pull Eastern to 4-3, momentum seemed to be with Eastern. Wyatt Ay would give Cherry Hill a two-goal lead midway through the period and a late goal by Joe Furgiuele had Cherry Hill in control at 6-3 after two periods. Early goals by Ben Snyder and Greg Krol completed the scoring.
