Thomas Rockey had a hat trick in the first period and Aaron Sphuler and Connor Reagan each scored twice as Clearview defeated PPACS 9-0 on Friday night at Hollydell to remain undefeated at 4-0 on the season. PPACS had some chances early as Clearview committed 3 consecutive penalties in a two minute span of the first period but could not capitalize. After killing the penalties the View got rolling as Rockey and Sphuler scored goals two minutes apart for a 2-0 lead with six minutes left in the period. Sphuler’s blast from the point was all hustle as he made a good play to keep the puck in the zone and his shot found the back of the net.

Rockey would score two more goals in a span of one minute, both assisted by Reagan and the lead was 4-0 after one. Reagan and Spuhler would score just over one minute apart midway through the second period and a 6-0 lead. Christopher Geary would add one late in the period and the View took a 7-0 lead into the third. Hunter Colella and Reagan closed out the scoring in the third as Clearview outshot PPACS 50-6.
