Jacob Bianchi scored two goals and Jacob Stone stopped 23 shots as Cherokee defeated Kingsway 4-1 in Tier I action at Voorhees on Monday night. Bianchi scored the only goal of the first period as the Chiefs led just 1-0 after one. Aaron Pape scored a power play goal for Kingsway to tie the score at 1-1 four minutes into the second period. Less than three minutes later Bianchi netted the go ahead goal on a nice feed from Darren Ambrose. Stone would be tested in nets as Kingsway would have a 2 man advantage for ninety seconds but could not get one past Stone.

Late in the third period Patrick Dugan would connect on a breakout pass from Nathan Bridgers and the lead was 3-1. Ambrose would add an empty net goal, shot from just in front of his own net and the Chiefs would improve to 6-4-3 on the season.
