Joey Crespo scored seven goals and Matt McDonald added a hat trick as Shawnee handled Plymouth Whitemarsh 12-1 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Wednesday night. With the score just 1-0 after one period on a goal from Crespo, Shawnee broke the game open scoring seven goals in the second period. Crespo actually scored the first four goals of the game. Meanwhile brother Alex was stopping all shots by PW and his performance in nets should not be over-shadowed by the scoring out-burst of his brother.

Crespo lost his shut out with less than eight minutes remaining as Shawnee failed to clear the zone and Kenny Yanni scored on a rebound to give PW their only goal. Next up for Shawnee is a date with #3 seed Hershey.
