Eddie Sarin had two goals and two assists and Mike Nigro added two goals and one assist to lead the Washington Township Minutemen to a 7-0 win over the Braves from Williamstown. Mike Stoever stopped all 20 shots for Township as they remain unbeaten and have a commanding seven point lead in the South Division. Nigro scored his first goal just nine seconds into the game and Township led 1-0. But that would be the only goal of the first period as Williamstown goalie would stop 14 shots, while his offense could only generate 2 shots on net.

Chris Lyons made it 2-0 scoring with a two-man advantage early in the second period and three minutes later that lead increased to 3-0 as Dante Fleagle converted a nice feed from Ryan Carr. Williamstown did manage nine shots, but Stoever stopped them all and the Braves were still in the game heading into the third period. Township however would put the game away with three goals in a span of four minutes. First, Sarin was set-up on the right side of the net and Matt Fleekop put the puck right on his stick for an easy goal. Then Nigro scored his second goal from the slot to make it 5-0 just three minutes into the period. Sarin finished the flurry of goals at the nine minute mark, this time on the left side of the net re-directing a pass from Dylan Smith to put Township out of reach at 6-0. Smith closed out the scoring late in the game and Township remained undefeated.

Notes: Township will play Cinnaminson on Monday night at Voorhees and should be a test for the Minutemen. The game was delayed at the start as Eric the official scorekeeper was late in getting back with his dinner, of which he did not share.
