Charles Wright scored two goals and had one assist to lead Williamstown over West Deptford 6-4 at Hollydell on Friday night. Luke DeHart led West Deptford with two goals. Anthony DeSimone gave West Deptford a 1-0 lead as they capitalized on a two-man advantage midway through the first period. Jimmy Watkins tied the game with a point shot late in the period. Early in the second period Tim McWilliams gave Williamstown a 2-1 lead scoring his second goal of the season.

That lead lasted six minutes until Matt Asselta would score the tying goal for West Deptford as he banged home a loose puck. Williamstown would respond seconds later as Jim Roescher converted a nice feed from Wright and Mike Quigley and the lead was 3-2. Roescher would return the favor three minute later as he fed Wright in front and his deflection found the net and Williamstown headed into the third period leading 4-2. DeHart scored his first of two goals early in the third period to bring West Deptford to within 4-3. Wright would restore the two goal lead as he won an offensive zone face-off and wristed a shot into the net for a 5-3 lead. With Williamstown on the power play, DeHart stole the puck and scored on a breakaway to once again pull West Deptford within one goal at 5-4. Jonathan Ruiz would put home a rebound of a shot by Allan Haynes with just over four minutes remaining in the game for a 6-4 lead which is how the game ended.

Notes: After going through a streak of eight games without a win in the middle part of their schedule, Williamstown has won a few in a row and should continue to grow with a roster full of under classmen.
