Eddie Sarin had a hat trick and Louie DeAngelo added a goal and three assists as Washington Township defeated Clearview 8-2 before a packed house at Hollydell. Both Sarin and DeAngelo broke the single season record for points in a season set by Fred Brewer with 76 points back in the 2004-05 seasons. Sarin, a junior currently leads the team with 81 points; DeAngelo is second with 78 points. Township led 2-0 after one period as Sarin scored both goals four minutes apart, with DeAngelo assisting on both.
Township blew the game open scoring four goals in the first seven minutes, as Ryan Carr, Jonathan Smith, Sarin, and Carr again all scored for Township as the lead grew to 6-0. Ed Moore got Clearview on the board late in the period to make it 6-1. Goals by DeAngelo and Justin Cogbill late in the third put Township up 8-1. Shaun Riley scored his second goal of the year in the final moments for Clearview to close out the scoring.
