Kevin Mello scored his first career varsity hat trick as Washington Township had little trouble in defeating Eastern 12-2 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Eddie Sarin also scored three goals as Township remained tied for the lead with Moorestown. Matt Herbert scored both Eastern goals. Township out-shot Eastern 37-12 as defensively the Vikings gave little help to goalie Daisy Mase. After Mello and Herbert exchanged goals in the opening three minutes, Township took the lead for good as Louie DeAngelo scored his 37th of the season down low. Mello made it 3-1 converting a nice pass from Justin Cogbill at the five minute mark and Eric Naccarelli scored the first of his two goals late in the period for a 4-1 advantage through one period.

It was 7-1 on goals by Sarin, Mello and Jonathan Smith before Herbert scored his second of the night midway through the period. Twenty seconds later however Township got that back as Sarin made it 8-2 after two. Another four goal period put Eastern away as Johnny Rey, Naccarelli, Sarin and Smith again finally ended the game at 12-2.

Notes: Should Moorestown and Township both win there remaining games and finished tied, the first tiebreaker is head-to-head, they split the 2 games, then you go by wins, they would both have the same amount of wins, then you go by goals scored in the 2 games they played. In that case Township would be awarded the top seed as they out-scored Moorestown 12-10.
