Mike Eni scored three goals and Tyler Woyshner and Matt Olbrich added two goals each as Moorestown took care of Clearview 11-1 in SJHSIHL action played at Hollydell. Moorestown took away any thoughts of an upset putting up seven goals in the first period. Woyshner opened the scoring just seconds into the game and when Willie Sulpizio made it 2-0 just one minute into the game, it looked like it was going to be a long night for Clearview.
Jack Ellison made it 3-0 converting on a 3-on-1 break with Olbrich getting the assist. Eni then scored two consecutive goals to make it 5-0. Alec Nicolai joined in the scoring frenzy with two minutes left in the period, and Eni completed his hat trick with twenty three seconds left and the lead was 7-0. Goals by Woyshner and Tyler Pedersen made it 9-0 before Eric Mitchell got one for Clearview. Olbrich added his two goals late in the period to end the game at 11-1.
Notes: Game 2 between Washington Township and Lenape was cancelled due to the threat of some retaliation from the last Clearview-Township game. No make-up date is scheduled.
