The Devils will have an opportunity to move into a playoff position this week with four games at home: Wednesday against the Reading Royals, Friday and Sunday against the Nailers, and Saturday night against the South Carolina Stingrays. Before Saturday’s night game, the Devils will honor Scott Bertoli, as his No. 19 jersey will be raised to the rafters of Sovereign Bank Arena.

TRENTON, N.J., -- Jeff Prough's late power play goal lifted the Trenton Devils to a 3-2 win over the Wheeling Nailers Wednesday night. Devils center Jim Henkel also reached a milestone with his 300th career point. Prough scored the game-winner with 1:45 left in regulation, while the Devils were on a four-minute power play. The double-minor was given to Andrew Lord for high-sticking Dan Eves. Prough took a loose puck from the near corner and roofed a shot over the right shoulder of Nailers goaltender Curtis Darling to seal the deal for Trenton. The goal was Prough's 19th of the season, which leads the Devils.
