This weeks top 5 - Since we had so many ties, this weeks rankings are full of ties, At #1 is Township and Moorestown, both are 17-1-2, with Township being tied by Cherokee 1-1, and Moorestown getting by Williamstown last night 6-5. at # 3 is Cherokee, Eastern and Cinnaminson, with Eastern and Cinnaminson againing playing to a tie for the second week in a row, but the Cinnaminson win over Cherokee puts them all in the same pack. Cinnaminson and Eastern are 11-6-3. Big games this week, Twp at Holy Cross Friday, then on Monday Twp at Eastern and Cherokee against RV.

Maybe a clearer picture next week. One thing for sure, no ties in the playoffs

Bart, always good to hear from you..Back from a short vacation, missed the Moorestown game last night, but would agree with you that teams are bunched up in the middle, with Township and Moorestown the top two teams. Cherokee plays good defense and solid in nets, but don't have that sniper. Still think Cinnaminson will make some noise as we progress in the playoffs.

Bart, going to beat you to the punch, this week. Top 3 are still the same with Moorestown and Township at the top followed by Cherokee. Eastern and Cinnaminson still are tied in the 4 spot as they played to 2 straight ties. With RV and Cherokee playing tonight, I'll be interested to see the outcome as RV is averaging 10 goals a game over the last six games and Cherokee plays good defense, although they have trouble scoring.

Thanks Mr. Mike, I was out collecting ammo for my slingshot and did not get to my rankings yet. I would agree with your postings on the top 5. Hey has anyone noticed some of the inconsistencie with the reffing? How can a player throw two punches right in front of a ref, and get a rough call. The punches were tthrown seperately at different parts of the ice. I guess the ref was waiting for the return punch and make a call agaisnt both players. He gives an opposing player a 10 minute misconduct for saying something to the player who threw the punches. This no call is from the same guy who called a misconduct against one of a teams better players in a 1-1 game for no mouthpeice, late in the game, then kicked the kid out of the game. If there is one thing that makes the fans and players go crazy, it's inconsistency in the calls. The refs should make the calls they see and keep the players responsible for their actions, and do it with consistencie. I don't expect them to be perfect, just consistent. This isn't a total ref bashing, because most of the refs have done a very good job from what I've seen.

Bart, not sure if you're following me, but I happened to be at both games you mentioned, the first, in a tie game and late in the third to call a penalty for no mouth-piece was ridiculous. In the other game with the fighting, oh and by the way same ref, an instructor from what I'm told, after escorting the players to the box, one player threw 2 punches that landed on the cage(and nothing additional was given), I get that if a fighting major is assessed, then there is a 5 game suspension, so you let the initial scuffle go with minors, but if the player/players persist when escorted to the box, then they should get what they deserve. Having said that, I respect the job all the refs have to do, its when you get that ONE guy, who thinks this is my show, that I have a problem with.
