Again a change - I have no clue anymore on my mid season picks. What do these early games mean??? Cinnaminson beats Shawnee 4-2, Holy Cross beats Cherokee, Cherokee ties Washington Township. Township beats Shawnee, Moorestown beats Shawnee, Township beats Moorestown.

One game at this point of the year doesn't mean much, and one game now doesn't tell who will be standing at the end of the year. Thats why we play the games. And from some of the results so far, the games are getting better. My new early season favorite is Cinnaminson, with Holy Cross second, Moorestown 3rd, Cherokee 4th, and Township 5th.

I'll change it again by next week

Ay Caramba

Eastern, keep up the good work with the limited squad you have, you could be this years Timber Creek.

This changing of my favorites is getting old. The one thing I see is no team has stepped forward as the clear cut favorites.

So this weeks top 5 are: 1- Moorestown = by virtue of wins over Twp and Cherokee 2- Township= Win over Cinnaminson, split with Moorestown 3- Holy Cross = undefeated but only quality win was over Cherokee, 4- Cherokee & Cinnaminson. Cinnaminson needs a win against one of the top 5, close win over Shawnee, and Cherokee is here because of its tie of Twp., 2-2-1 losses to Holy Cross and Moorestown.

Upcoming games to watch = Both involve Holy Cross, Friday vs Cherokee in a rematch of the Cross'es 6-2 win, and then on Monday against Cinnaminson.

Bart, this season unlike past seasons there is no clear cut dominant favorite. Which is why your top 5 keeps changing!! I think we need to see some more games between Holy Cross, Cinnaminson, Moorestown and Township. If I were to set the top 3 right now, in no order, it would be Moorestown, Cinnaminson and Township. Cherokee and Shawnee, past power houses will struggle as they re-build there teams with youth. I think to me so far the biggest surprise is how well Eastern is doing, considering they were close to not having a team. That's why they play the games...

Yes, old wise Guru, once again you are correct. I can bet that at the end of the year, after the championship game, on my final post to this topic, I will have correctly picked the winner, and the top 5.

Eastern is doing quite well, with Plotkin and Bascou in the top 6 in scoring, and the girl in goal, this from a team who like you point out was in jeopardy of even being in existance just a month or two ago.

Even being young and rebuilding, Cherkoe and Shawnee can not be taken lightly. Each could pull a Timber Creek in the playoffs this year.

On another note, is it true that the top 4 in scoring play on the same club team, with the former coach of Timber Creek?????????????

Was already planning on covering. Make sure your team knows they can register to the site, as its for the players and coaches. I'm assuming by surprises you mean players, but I'll wait until Friday night.
