Just to set the record straight about me since it seems I am a topic of discussion. First of all, there was no power move or struggle in the club to get Jim out the club is fine. Regardless of what has been said no one dislikes Jim or feels Jim was a bad person or coach. I don't know there motives in asking Jim to step down and asking me to coach except maybe it was time for a change. Jim had a great run and Chris is a friend of mine so I wish them all the best and I hope they get another spot coaching somewhere because they deserve it.

Now to the important stuff which is hockey. TWP will be fine. Our recent playoff problems will hopefully end this year with a new attitude and a fresh start. At one point I think I read someone said Big shoes to fill? Thanks for the heads up but to be honest the only shoes I am trying to fill are my own. Nice thing about this league is that the regular season is like a big preseason because everyone makes the playoffs. I think I saw someone give out a record of TWP during the regular season during the past several years. I think they lost one game all year two years ago got into the playoff and lost to little old Timber Creek with 11 players and a goalie. Lets just see what happens thie year shalll we?

Good Luck to everyone...

First the important stuff..

Hopefully we will see many competitive games this year and someone will challenge Moorestown for the title. While everyone makes the playoffs, I don't agree that the regular season is like a pre-season. I would think you want to develop a winning attitude and have consistensy throughout the year.

As far as setting the record straight, although the chapter is closed on Coach Macchione as far as Township is concerned, I can tell you for a fact he would disagree with your assumption.

Well he is more then entitled to his opinion as are you and yes I agree hopefully there are more competitive games this year. But before you blow the whistle and sound the alarms on how bad a coach I am why don't you wait and see. We will see what happens this year and in the future.

Not once did I ever say that you were a bad coach, I have publicly said that you did a good job while leading TC to a Tier II Title. I'm sure you will be ready when the alarm sounds, but don't mis-quote me.

Jim was not pushed out of being the coach...wt interviews coaches every year as part of their bylaws and yes Jim had to put hes app. in every year... It was time for a change...
