After Dan Kent had given Shawnee a 1-0 lead midway through the first period, neither team would score until Strath Haven would tie the game in the third period.
Crespo in his first start in probably the biggest game in his life, kept Shawnee in the game as the offense could only generate 19 shots through three periods. Next up for Shawnee is West Chester East, fresh off an upset of the top seeded West Chester Henderson. Shawnee looks to continue the South Jersey streak started by Township last year as the second team in a row to advance to the Flyer Cup Finals after winning the Title in South Jersey.
