Mason Batchelor scored twice as Williamstown defeated Clearview 6-5 in JVA action played at Hollydell. Brian Fahy led the Clearview attack with two goals. The Braves jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first eight minutes of the game. Goals by Dylan Schnapp, Batchelor and Tyler Spear gave Williamstown the early lead. Clearview would get goals from Reese Valcich in the final minute of the period to cut the lead to 3-2.

Brett Pontelandolfo scored four goals as Cherokee JVA defeated Black Horse JVA 8-2 in game action played at Hollydell. The Chiefs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and never looked back. Two goals by Pontelandolfo and one by Brendan Mohnacs put Cherokee up 3-0 after one period. After Gregory Biesiada scored an early goal for Black Horse in the second period to make it 3-1, Cherokee would respond three minutes later as Michael Deford scored to make it 4-1.

Donovan Haslett scored his second goal of the night with twenty two seconds remaining in the game to give Washington Township a 3-2 victory over Council Rock South in a cross-over exhibition game played at Hollydell on Wednesday night. Council Rock South is a three time Flyers Cup Champ and PA state champs from 2012 and they compete in the Suburban League, so this was a good test for Township. Six minutes into the game John Shuck converted a pass from Jarret Strickon to give Township a 1-0 lead. Early in the second period Council Rock would tie the game at 1-1 as AJ Colella was beaten on the short-side.

Cinnaminson received goals from four different player and built a 3-0 lead, but had to hang on from a hard charging St Joe’s squad in a 4-3 win at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The Pirates jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period with Mike Szabo scoring on the power play at the six minute mark with Alex Richardson and Liam McGurrin assisting. Then McGurrin would get his first goal of the season about five minutes later and the Pirates led 2-0.

Eastern scored three goals in a four minute span in the third period to snap a 2-2 game and go on to defeat Washington Township 5-2 in action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Connor Riley led the Eastern offense with two goals. After a scoreless first period, Township took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Donovan Haslett three minutes into the second period. The Vikings would get the tying goal at the six minute mark with Timothy Jo scoring his first of the season. Late in the period the Vikings capitalized on the power play as Max Kuznetsov set-up Riley for his first of two on the night and Eastern led 2-1 after two periods.

John Pearson had a natural hat trick and David Cutler had a goal and three assists to lead Cherry Hill past Riverfront 4-0 in Tier II action on Monday night in Voorhees. Riverfront was out-shot 45-16. Jordan Hauler got the shutout in recording his first win of the season. Cutler scored the only goal Hauler would need early in the period on the power play with Tommy Papa and Mike Martinez getting the assists. Pearson would get his first of three on the night three minutes later with Cutler and Kyle Hill getting the assists and Cherry Hill took a 2-0 lead into the second period.

Riley Miller stopped all 25 shots and Jake Kelley scored his first varsity goal as Cherokee defeated Moorestown 4-0 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. Kelley also added two assists on the night. The Chiefs got the only goal of the first period as Kelley would pick up a loose puck down low and deposit it short side for a 1-0 lead. Moorestown had no answer for Miller and he seemed to get stronger as the game wore on. After a scoreless second period, Cherokee capitalized on the power play in the first twenty five seconds of the third period with Max Zeligson converting on a feed from Kelley and Andreas Katsanos.

Brendan Mohnacs had a hat trick and Jake Kelley added two goals as Cherokee had little trouble with Washington Township 11-1 in JVA action played at Hollydell. Mohnacs scored twice in the opening minute after Brandon Garber had scored in the first thirty three seconds and Cherokee never looked back. Joe Crincoli scored the lone Township goal. Also scoring for the Chiefs were Josh Aubrey, Rusty Abate, Brett Pontelandolfo, and Michael Andes with a short-handed goal. Township failed to capitalize on four power play opportunities.

Gage Grist scored three goals and Brendan Blight added a goal and two assists as Mainland defeated Shawnee 7-2 in the season opener for both teams. Gage scored the lone goal of the first period with Jacob Graziotto and Brendan Allen getting the assists; it was the first of three assists on the night for Allen. Grist scored an unassisted goal early in the second period and less than two minutes later Blight would net his first of the season and the lead was 3-0. Shawnee would get on the board less than one minute later as Nick Simonetti would connect to cut the lead to 3-1.

Charlie Banquier had a goal and an assist and Griffin Conroy stopped all 12 shots as Moorestown defeated Egg Harbor 3-0 in the season opener for both teams. The game featured 23 penalties, with Egg Harbor drawing 12 and Moorestown scoring two power play goals. Christian Romeo opened the scoring midway through the first period with Robert Wildish and Sean Humes getting the assists. After killing off three consecutive penalties, Moorestown would capitalize on the man advantage as Kyle Ingles would connect in the final sixteen seconds of the period and a 2-0 lead.
