Tyler Burton’s hat trick goal with 5:46 left in regulation catapulted the Trenton Devils to a come-from-behind 7-6 win against the hottest team in the ECHL, the Florida Everblades. Burton knocked in a rebound from a Dan Eves shot to give the Devils their only lead of the game, which proved to be the most important one. It was Burton’s first career hat trick.

Ten different players scored for Shawnee led by two goals each from Joey Pezzato and John Meehan as they defeated Rancocas Valley 12-5 in action played at the Igloo in Mt. laurel. Matt McDonald added a goal and four assists as Shawnee remained undefeated and tied for first with Cherokee, who is also undefeated. Vince Tascione, Tim Pagliuso and Pezzato scored in a span of five minutes to give Shawnee control early and they never looked back. Sean Fleming led RV with two goals. Also scoring for Shawnee was Ryan Welsey, Joey Crespo, Mike Molinari, Robert Churchill and Ian Smith.

Holy Cross scored a season high eight goals in the second period and hung on to defeat West Deptford 12-10 in an offensive display at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Mike Lukis led Holy Cross with five goals and Jimmy Guida and Nick Mullarkey added two goals each. Greg Steers had a hat trick for West Deptford and Andrew Whalin, Anthony DeSimone and Luke DeHart scored twice for West Deptford. Holy Cross jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, but West Deptford scored five goals in the last seven minutes to take a 5-3 lead into the second period.

Erik Hamilton scored twice and Aaron Connell stopped seventeen shots in the third period as Williamstown defeated Eastern 4-2 in action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Josh Weinberg scored both goals for Eastern. The first period saw each team score a goal within the first six minutes, Weinberg gave the Vikings a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game and Jimmy Watkins would tie the game on the power play just about four minutes later. Williamstown scored twice in the second period as Anthony Derbyshire gave his team a 2-1 lead just three minutes in and Hamilton made it 3-1 as he picked up a loose puck out front and drilled home his first of two.

The Trenton Devils continued to struggle in the month of November as they lost three in a row to the Wheeling Nailers, Elmira Jackals, and Johnstown Chiefs. The Devils will go back on the road this week against the Reading Royals and Chiefs, and complete the weekend with their first games at home against the Florida Everblades and Cincinnati Cyclones.

Cinnaminson scored three goals in the third period and defeated Washington Township 6-4 and hand the Minutemen their first loss of the season. Township had jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and looked in control but Cinnaminson kept their composure, got stellar goaltending from Kevin Roth after the first period and kept chipping away. Roth struggled early as he seemed to be too far back in his net as Township scored three times in five minutes on goals by Jonathan Paulo, John Rey and a power play goal by Chris Lyons.

The Eastern Vikings built a 4-1 lead midway through the final period and held off a late charging Seneca team to hold on for the 4-3 win in action played at Voorhees on Monday night. Neither team generated much offense through the first two periods as Justin Sperling scored the only goal of the first period for Eastern. John Forsythe of Seneca got the first of his two goals in the second period and through two periods we were deadlocked at 1-1.Eastern took control in the third period as they scored three goals in a span of five minutes to lead 4-1. Billy Bascou set-up Sam Seigeldorf for a 2-1 lead then Bascou broke in with Vice Clementi and after drawing over the defenseman slid the puck to Clementi who had most of an empty net to shoot at.
