Domenic Garozzo scored two goals and Kyle Rink stopped 25 shots as Washington Township defeated Williamstown 5-1 in Tier I action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Joe Ricchezza would open the scoring just three minutes into the game as he was positioned to the right of the goalie down low and put home a rebound of a shot by Joseph Urban. Three minutes later Garozzo would make it 2-0 as his quick shot from the slot found the top left corner and Township took a two goal lead into the second period. Williamstown would have two power play opportunities but Rink stood his ground with his best save coming against Mason Batchelor from point blank range.

Domenic Garozzo had a hat trick and Andrew McGinley had two goals as Washington Township defeated Egg Harbor Township 10-2 at Voorhees on Monday night. EHT jumped out to a 1-0 lead as William Bahnak would score the first of his two goals on the night just three minutes into the game. Chad Castorina would get the Township offense going at the ten minute mark as he tied the game at 1-1. His goal would trigger a four goal span over five minutes. Right off the center ice face off Garozzo would give Township a 2-1 lead as he used his speed to generate a scoring chance. Bahnak would tie the game at 2-2 moments later, his second of the night. Township would seize control in the last ninety seconds as Nick Shute and McGinley would score and give Township a 4-2 lead after one.

On a night that Washington Township recognized their five seniors, it was junior forward Dominic Garozzo who stole the show scoring four goals to lead Washington Township over Kingsway 6-1 in a rare Wednesday night contest at Hollydell. Garozzo, who seems to do everything fast, now has 19 goals on the season, which is tied for the top spot and has led Township into a first place tie with defending champion Eastern. After Kingsway applied early pressure, but with Kyle Rink playing solid in nets, Kingsway would score their first and only goal late in the period as Corey Owens would get one by Rink for a 1-0 lead. Just about one minute later, Garozzo would create a scoring opportunity with his speed and on a feed from Chad Castorina would get the tying goal.

Chad Castorina scored two goals and Kyle Rink stopped 17 shots as Washington Township defeated Cherokee 4-1 in Tier I action in Voorhees on Monday night. After Andrew Matlack scored the only goal of the first period to give Township the 1-0 lead, Castorina would connect on the power play with Dominic Garazzo and Matt Kennedy getting the assists for a 2-0 lead. Cherokee had two great chances from Mike Deford down low, but Rink would come up big to keep Cherokee off the board. Then with a power play opportunity and a chance to cut the lead in half, Castorina would score short-handed on a pass from Garozzo and the lead was 3-0 after two periods.

Dominic Garozzo had 4 goals and Joey Ricchezza added a goal and two assists as Washington Township defeated Lower Cape May 10-0 in game action in Voorhees. Township launched 47 shots on goal in and would connect for six goals in the second period to put the game away. The offense took a while to get going as Harrison Rau scored at the seven minute mark of the opening period. That goal would open the flood gates as Garozzo would score twice over the next minute and suddenly the lead was 3-0.Matt Kennedy scored at the eight minute mark and Township took a 4-0 lead into the second period.

Kyle Rink stopped all 20 shots and Dominic Garozzo scored twice as Washington Township defeated Egg Harbor Township 4-0 at the Skate Zone in Atlantic City on Monday night. With the win Township improved to 3-1 on the season. Steven Kanakaris scored the only goal Rink would need, this one coming on the power play in the final ten seconds of the first period. Rink would play a strong second period as EHT would have 3 power play opportunities, including a two man advantage in the final minute of the period but several big saves kept EHT off the board.

Dominic Garozzo had a hat trick, Mike Guarracino and Joseph Urban added two goals each as Washington Township defeated Lower Cape May 12-0 last night in Voorhees. Scoring a record setting eight goals in the first period Township had its best offensive outburst in a very long time. Mike Egan, Steve Kanakaris, Giovanni Torrie, Chad Castorina and Ryan Andrews also scored for Township. The offense would generate 43 shots in just two periods with Garozzo creating many scoring chances and also getting three assists to go along with his hat trick.

Connor Riley and Max Kuznetsov scored two goals each as Eastern defeated Washington Township 5-1 in SJHSHL action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The teams combined for over 30 penalties in a wild second period that saw the Vikings take control with a four goal outburst. After a scoreless first period in which Township had five power play opportunities to take the lead, Kristian Massanova scored a power play goal for Eastern in the opening two minutes of the second period to put the Vikings up 1-0. Three minutes later Kuznetsov would connect once again on the power play and the lead was 2-0.

Kyle Rink stopped 24 shots and Domenic Garozzo scored two goals in his first game for Township as they defeated Eastern 3-1 at the Voorhees Skate Zone. After a scoreless first period Max Kuznetsov gave the Vikings there only lead as he scored at the five minute mark of the second period to make it 1-0. Garozzo would tie the game moments later using his speed to fly down the right side and his quick shot beat Isaac Bleicher and we were tied at 1-1.
