Taylor Olson had three goals and three assists and Mike Vulpio added two goals and two assists as Clearview defeated Lenape/RV 6-4 on Friday night at Hollydell. Lenape/RV playing in Tier II this season finishes the regular season at 6-9-5. Ron Randall and Sam Belanger led Lenape/RV scoring two goals each. Clearview improved to 11-7 on the year with two games remaining, but struggled all night as Lenape/RV would not go away, to their credit.

The SJHSIHL has put together an All-Star team consisting of juniors and seniors to participate in an All Star Tourney that will compete against teams from other Pennsylvania high school leagues. Each All Star team will play 2 games and showcase their skills in front of local college coaches as well as a selection committee that will ultimately select 20 skaters and 2-3 goalies to represent Team Philadelphia in America’s Showcase, a tournament that features players from all around the country competing against each other.

Jared Hand and Eric Simone each scored twice as the EEW defeated Lenape/RV 10-3 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees last night in Tier II action. The EEW was in control from the start scoring three goals in the first period. Simone got things going in the first three minutes as he stole the puck at center ice and broke in on a breakaway and buried his shot for a 1-0 lead. Less than two minutes later Ross Bryan made it 2-0 notching his ninth goal of the year with Marc Duyan getting the assist.

Ryan McCusker stopped all 20 shots and Washington Township scored three goals in the first period as they defeated Lenape/RV 4-0 in a rare Wednesday night contest at Hollydell. With the win Township improved to 8-3. Township jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the opening period, scoring all three goals in a span of four minutes.

Dennis Padick scored all four goals for Mainland, including the game tying goal with forty one seconds left as Mainland and Lenape/RV skated to a 4-4 tie. After the teams traded goals in the first period, Padick scoring early for a 1-0 lead, and Lenape/RV scoring late on a power play goal by Sam Belanger, Mainland took the lead in the second period.

Five different players scored for the EEW as they defeated Lenape/RV 5-2 last night at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. With the win the EEW remained undefeated on the season. Lenape/RV broke out on top just two minutes into the game as Chris Popp put home a rebound of a Jordan Kreifels shot for a 1-0 lead. That lead lasted until the final minute of the period when Eric Simone followed up a shot by Jared Hand to tie the score at 1-1 heading into the second period.

Jordan Kreifels scored with less than two minutes left in the game as Lenape/RV skated to a 3-3 tie against Shawnee. Shawnee had built a 3-1 lead after two periods but Lenape/RV rallied and now has one win and a tie against Tier 1 opponents in three contests.

Trailing 6-1 and seemingly out of the game at the eleven minute mark of the second period, Lenape/RV rallied scoring the next five goals to earn a 6-6 tie with Cherokee II in action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Chris Popp led Lenape/RV with two goals; Tim Ryan had a hat trick for Cherokee II. The first period was all the Chiefs as they jumped out to a 4-0 lead, with Matt Meade opening the scoring five minutes into the game. Ryan would score twice in a three minute span, once on the power play and the lead was 3-0. Tim Schirmer built the lead to 4-0 seconds after Ryan’s goal and Cherokee II seemed to be in control.

Jordan Kreifels scored three goals to lead Lenape/RV to a 5-3 win over Holy Cross in SJHSIHL action played at the Igloo on Friday night. After a scoreless first period, Sam Belanger scored his fourth goal of the season to give Lenape/RV a 1-0 lead early in the second period. Kreifels made it 2-0 midway through the period scoring an unassisted goal. Holy Cross would bounce back to score two goals in the final six minutes as Brian Clegg notched his second of the season and Patrick Rizzo tied the score right before the horn sounded and we entered the third period tied at 2-2.
