David Cassey stopped all 20 shots and Williamstown stayed alive in the tournament as they knocked off Seneca 2-0. The loss ended the season for Seneca. After a scoreless first period, Jim Roescher got the first goal early in the second period after Williamstown had hit about three posts and had a goal disallowed. Seneca’s best scoring opportunity came midway through the period as Scott Parker broke through, but Cassey stoned him.

Mark Lamberto scored a natural hat trick as Timber Creek held off Seneca 4-3 at the Igloo in Mt. Laurel. After a scoreless first period in which Seneca goalie Kevin Dazin was strong in nets stopping all 12 shots, Seneca broke out on top in the opening seconds of the middle period as Scott Parker intercepted a pass and broke in all alone and his shot found the net and a 1-0 lead. Lamberto would tie the game one minute later thanks to some hard work by Tom Szabo, who kept the puck in and found Lamberto in front. Moments later that combination worked again as Lamberto shot the puck from his knees as he was tripped up, but he found the net and a 2-1 lead.

Jason Irlich scored two goals to lead Williamstown to a 5-3 win over Seneca in action played in the South Division at Hollydell. Seneca scored the only goal of the first period as freshman defenseman Nick Fowler tallied his sixth goal of the season for Seneca scoring with twenty three seconds left. Fowler pinched in from the point and put home a rebound. Williamstown took a 2-1 lead in the second period as Irlich and Dominic Carusone scored goals five minutes apart. Irlich on the power play and heading into the third period Williamstown was clinging to a 2-1 advantage.

Washington Township had no trouble in defeating Seneca 14-2 on Friday night, as four players led the way with two goals each. It’s difficult enough playing Township and the depth they have this year, and Seneca came tonight with only seven players, which gave them no chance. Jonathan Paulo, Matt Fleekop, Louie DeAngelo and Mike Nigro led the scoring frenzy for Township scoring two goals each. Other players that scored for Township included Eddie Sarin, Ryan Carr, John Rey, Mike Magee, Jonathan Smith and Garrett Quinn. Freshman goalie DJ Mark got his first start of the season for Township and had a shut out until the final minutes when Scott Parker and Ryan Deitrich scored for Seneca.

The Eastern Vikings built a 4-1 lead midway through the final period and held off a late charging Seneca team to hold on for the 4-3 win in action played at Voorhees on Monday night. Neither team generated much offense through the first two periods as Justin Sperling scored the only goal of the first period for Eastern. John Forsythe of Seneca got the first of his two goals in the second period and through two periods we were deadlocked at 1-1.Eastern took control in the third period as they scored three goals in a span of five minutes to lead 4-1. Billy Bascou set-up Sam Seigeldorf for a 2-1 lead then Bascou broke in with Vice Clementi and after drawing over the defenseman slid the puck to Clementi who had most of an empty net to shoot at.
