Rich Busch, Jake DiStasio and Allan Haynes each scored twice as Williamstown had little problem in defeating Cherokee II 12-1 at Hollydell on Friday night. The game was scoreless for the first eight minutes, and then Williamstown had a 2-man advantage and capitalized as Kyle Parks would put home a rebound of a Brandon Mead shot for a 1-0 lead. Just about one minute later Haynes would get his first of the night on a deflection and it was 2-0.

Rich Busch and Jake DiStasio scored two goals each as Williamstown defeated Clearview 5-2 in SJHSIHL action at Hollydell. DiStasio scored the only goal of the first period as he connected at the three minute mark to give the Braves a 1-0 lead heading into the second period. Clearview would tie the game at 1-1 early in the second period scoring with a two-man advantage as Joseph Paul scored. Both net minders were on their game as Dan Flaherty for Clearview and Troy Altbaum for Williamstown made several big saves to keep the game even.

Jonathan Ruiz opened the season scoring three goals in the first period, four overall as Williamstown beat Shawnee 8-2 in the season opener for both teams in the SJHSIHL Tier 1 division. Ruiz scored on his first shift of the game at the thirteen second mark to make it 1-0. He would score two more goals, one on the power play as Williamstown led 3-0. Lee Alessandrini would put Shawnee on the board late in the period to cut the lead to 3-1.
