Rancocas Valley remained unbeaten as Mike Walsh scored his fourth goal of the season late in the third period to help rally RV to a 3-3 tie with Washington Township. Township carried the play in the first period launching 15 shots, with Garrett Quinn getting the lone goal for a 1-0 lead heading into the second period. RV tied the game less than five minutes into the second period as Andrew Heinz scored his first goal of the season.
Dylan Smith put Township ahead at 2-1 just about four minutes later, but late in the period after a Township penalty gave RV a power play in the final moments, Eric Bitzer got the equalizer with forty-seven seconds left and we were tied at 2-2 heading into the final period. Chris Lyons gave Township a 3-2 lead at the 5:54 mark, but Walsh got the tying goal moments later and neither team could score in the last few minutes.
