Cinnaminson scored three goals in the third period and defeated Washington Township 6-4 and hand the Minutemen their first loss of the season. Township had jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and looked in control but Cinnaminson kept their composure, got stellar goaltending from Kevin Roth after the first period and kept chipping away. Roth struggled early as he seemed to be too far back in his net as Township scored three times in five minutes on goals by Jonathan Paulo, John Rey and a power play goal by Chris Lyons.

Cinnaminson got a break early in the second period as a shot by Justin Nugent went off a defenseman and into the net and Cinnaminson was on the board. Moments later on the power play Kevin Rafferty picked up a loose puck in the slot and deposited his fifth goal into the net and Cinnaminson was now down just one goal at 3-2. With the momentum now clearly shifted to Cinnaminson, they got the tying goal when some consistent pressure paid off as Matt Fields scored with Sean Joyce getting the assist. Township finally broke through against Roth as Louie DeAngelo scored in the final minute of the period and once again Township led 4-3. JT Melvin tied the game at 4-4, once again off a skate of a defenseman. Taylor Arcaini gave Cinnaminson their first lead at 5-4 with just over six minutes left on a feed from Eric McDowell and Joyce. Roth made two big saves down low against Matt Fleekop and Mike Nigro to preserve the lead. Township pulled the goalie in the games final minute, but McDowell scored into an empty net to ice the game for Cinnaminson.
