Tyler Griffis got his first start of the season against Holy Cross and allowed only one goal as Moorestown defeated Holy Cross 6-1 in action played at the Igloo. Michael Eni and Alec Nicolai each scored two goals to lead the attack. Moorestown jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period on goals by Eni, Nicolai and Shane Brennan. After a scoreless second period, Eni scored early in the third period and the lead grew to 4-0. Mike Lukis scored on the power play for Holy Cross at the nine minute mark to ruin the shutout to make it 4-1. Goals by David Goldblatt and Nicolai less than one minute apart iced the game for Moorestown.
Notes: With the victory Moorestown moved into a tie for second place in the North Division with Shawnee, both trail undefeated Cherokee by five points.
