Matt McDonald had four goals and two assists and Ryan Welsey chipped in with two goals and three assists as Shawnee came back from a 5-4 deficit with nine minutes left to defeat Washington Township 7-5 in playoff action at Voorhees. Shawnee controlled the first period and led 3-0, scoring twice in the opening two minutes, first McDonald on a break and then Welsey on a wrap around. McDonald added his second goal midway through the period and Shawnee led 3-0. Township was back on its heels and needed a spark to get going.

Washington Township used a three goal second period to propel itself past Timber Creek 4-0. Mike Stoever stopped all 19 shots as Township moves on in the Double Elimination Tournament, while Timber Creek saw its season come to an end. Having lost to Timber Creek earlier in the playoffs, Township needed a quick start and just under three minutes into the game, Louie DeAngelo scored on the power play to give Township a 1-0 lead. That was the only scoring of the period, although Township did have back to back power plays but failed to capitalize.

Josh Westrom scored with thirty five seconds remaining in the third period to give Cherokee JVA a 4-3 victory over Washington Township JVA. With the victory Cherokee moves into the finals against Moorestown for the championship on March 1st at Voorhees Skate Zone at 7:00. Township scored the only two goals of the first period with Nick Bramante scoring both, one short-handed three minutes into the game and the other goal with the period winding down as Cherokee only managed 3 shots in the opening stanza.

Washington Township scored three goals in the final eight minutes of the third period and defeated Clearview 5-3 before a packed house at Hollydell. Trailing throughout most of the game, Township has still not found its stride in the tournament and assistant coach Chris Macchione attributes the inability to get off to quick starts as one of the main sticking points. As it turns out Coach Macchione was correct as in 15 of their wins during the regular season, Township was usually ahead by two or three goals after one period. In only one game against Cinnaminson did they lead 3-0 after one period and wind up losing.

Trailing 4-2 heading into what would have been their final period of the season, Washington Township came back to life scoring 5 times on their way to a 7-4 win over Delran. Matt Fleekop and Eddie Sarin led the way with two goals and three assists each. Ray Norfo led Delran with a hat trick. Delran led after the first period, 2-1, as Norfo scored twice, sandwiched between was a Township power play goals scored by Fleekop, whose senior leadership was an important part to the success of the team all season.
