James Privito had three goals and three assists to lead Black Horse to the Tier 3 Championship with an 8-3 win over Mainland. Black Horse took control from the opening face-off and after just one minute into the game Privito scored the first of three power play goals for a 1-0 lead. Just about two minutes later, again on the power play, Kyle Smith connected for Black Horse and the lead was 2-0. Mainland had yet to find its offense and just five minutes into the game they were down two goals.

James Privito had three goals and five assists to lead Black Horse to a 13-3 win over Lower Cape May in Tier 3 action played at Hollydell. Chris Chaffin and Martin Bell each had a hat trick for Black Horse as they climbed into a first place tie with Mainland. It’s always a struggle when you start a program, and Lower Cape May is still in the infant stages of their program, but under the tutelage of Coach Castelucci, who preaches patience, they seem to be on the right track. I’ve seen when games are out of hand on the scoreboard and the team on the wrong end of the score becomes chippy and looking for a fight, the game loses its purpose...
