Five different players scored as Cinnaminson defeated Delran 5-2 at the Igloo on Friday night. With the win Cinnaminson clinched fourth place in the division, as they hold the tie-breaker against Holy Cross. The game was tight heading into the third period as Cinnaminson led just 2-1 on goals by Kevin Rafferty and Sean Gault with Randy Khinkis scoring for Delran. Both goaltenders were solid in nets especially Marc Horwitz who had stopped 20 of 22 shots. Kevin Roth, while facing just 13 shots, kept Delran at bay as they were 0-5 on the power play through two periods.

Cinnaminson got some breathing room at the eight minute mark of the third period as Joe Carfagno set-up Garrett McLaverty for his sixth goal of the season and the lead was 3-1. Tyler Adams got Delran to 3-2 with less than three minutes left, but nineteen seconds later Sean Joyce scored his 18th of the year to ice the game at 4-2. Nick Pidge added a power play goal in the final seconds for the 5-2 final.

Notes: Unbeaten in there last six games at 3-0-3, Cinnaminson is jellying at the right time, and with balanced scoring and solid goaltending will be a force to reckon with during the playoffs. Congratulations to Ryan Potteiger, Eric McDowell and Kevin Roth as they will represent Cinnaminson in the Showcase game. For Delran congrats to Jesse Gimbel and Cody Myers for being selected.
