Moorestown used a six goal uprising in the first period and coasted to a 7-1 win over Black Horse in action played at Hollydell. Eric Schwartz had a hat trick and Mike Katz and Brett Woyshner added two goals each for Moorestown. Joe Laserre scored the lone goal for Black Horse scoring midway through the final period.

Robert Papotto got his first varsity start of the season and stopped 19 shots for Moorestown as they improved to 2-0 on the season. Woyshner opened the scoring just thirty seven seconds into the game converting on the power play. Just under three minutes later Katz made it 2-0 with Bill Sulpizio and Liam Ridge getting the assists. Katz made it 3-0 at the four minute mark scoring on the power play with Ridge and John McEvoy assisting.

Schwartz got his first goal of the night at the six minute mark to make it 4-0. Goals by Woyshner and Schwartz in the final three minutes had the lead to 6-0 after one period. Schwartz completed his hat trick early in the second period and Moorestown used its entire bench the rest of the game to close out the win. Next up for Moorestown is a date with Cherokee on Monday.
