William Sulpizio and Eric Schwartz scored two goals each as Moorestown rolled over Shawnee 7-1 in Tier I action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Vada Mangum stopped 23 shots in nets for Moorestown. Lawrence Walker scored the only goal for Shawnee. Moorestown jumped out early as Mike Katz scored just twenty nine seconds into the game with Sulpizio getting the assist. Schwartz would score about five minutes later, his first of two on the night, to make it 2-0 after one period.

Moorestown would double the lead to 4-0 as Sulpizio and Schwartz would score goals less than one minute apart late in the period and Moorestown headed into the third period up by four. Liam Ridge scored just fifteen seconds in and the lead was 5-0. Mangum had his strongest period in the third as Shawnee had three power play opportunities but failed to score. Walker ruined the shut-out with about seven minutes left in the game, but goals by Sulpizio and John McCollough closed out the scoring.

Notes: Schwartz leads the league in goals with 8 and Sulpizio and Katz are one, two in total points. Along with good goaltending, Moorestown is a strong contender for the title.
